Luau

This is what I was up to today with one of my girlfriends. Her son's school is having an end of year luau so we made some fun decorations.

The flowers were cut using Pagoda at 3, 2 3/4, 2 1/2, 2 the layered atop and put on skewers, The jars are stuffed with tissue paper trimmed at the top, and Aloha was created using my gypsy, thanks Maggie I love it, We lavered palm trees, flip flops and turtles around the covered pasta sauce jars. We even made flowered hair clips for the girls. Happy cutting.

Bunco Girls night

I know it has been awhile, but wow can I say busy, especially since school is finishing up for the year and preparing for summer. These are some of the decorations I recently made for Bunco that I hosted at my house. I love to make individualized scorecards. They are made on 6x6 paper layered with 5x5 paper then add embellishments. The bunco score sheets are made from a piece of 81/2 x 11 paper. I has bunco on Friday the 13th so I went with a haunted theme. I made the dice out of tissue boxes and added circles. I also made haunted houses with the Happy Hauntings cartridge.

Friendships Bloom Card

Hi, Here is another Everyday Pop-Up card! I am still struggling with how to place the inside pop-ups! If anyone has any help, I would appreciate it. This one is from page 48. I cut the pop-up at 5 1/2", the pot at 3" and the front of the card at 3 1/2".

Bundle of Joy

Here is the first card I made using the new Cricut Cartridge Everyday Pop-Up Cards. I made this card to go with the Baby Album I posted yesterday. I am not sure I got quite right the way the pop-up goes on the inside! They don't give you instructions for each one. I look forward to making more of these cards.

Shaped Baby Album

I love this album, I found a video online explain how to do this. I adapted it myself to make a baby album. I used the design studio to put the shaped pages together. I used various Cricut Cartridges, George and Basic Shapes, SYI, Beyond Birthdays, and Wrap it up. I embellished it with Cricut Imagine Cartridges. Mostly I used Nursery Tails and Imagine More. This was a lot of work but lots of fun, too!!
