Bunco Girls night

I know it has been awhile, but wow can I say busy, especially since school is finishing up for the year and preparing for summer. These are some of the decorations I recently made for Bunco that I hosted at my house. I love to make individualized scorecards. They are made on 6x6 paper layered with 5x5 paper then add embellishments. The bunco score sheets are made from a piece of 81/2 x 11 paper. I has bunco on Friday the 13th so I went with a haunted theme. I made the dice out of tissue boxes and added circles. I also made haunted houses with the Happy Hauntings cartridge.

Royal Wedding Extravaganza

So I just got home from a Royal Wedding party. Yes it is 10 am and I am in need of a long nap. Some ladies and I got together, had a sleep over and woke up at 4 am to start the festivities. I made vases, purses, and even the Kate replica rings for the party out of various cricut cartridges. As soon as I get some zzzz's I will post more pictures and how I created the decorations which are so versatile and can be used for any party.

Fun to give as gifts

So my mother in law Maggie got me hooked knitting over Christmas. I started making dish clothes with her and now i give them as hostess gifts (or whenever I go to any of my friends homes and see they have a lot of dirty dishes). I love using my Cricut to make the tags. For the one on the left, i take paper scraps and cut a long strip about 3.5 inches and fasten it with tape. The tag is made from Forever young, layered and cut at 3 inches and another at 2.5 inches. The flower is from the same cartridge and the "hand made just for you" is from Wild card. The Purse is from Forever Young and is 5 inches. I cut out "Fresh" and glued it on. What a fun way to give gifts to friends, teachers and family.

Fun Friends

This was a fun random card made with Forever young. My kids love to make purses and have acquired a nice collection of them, however, this is a card to give with a purse of goodies or to a lost friend.
