And the Award goes to...
I think I missed my calling in life....... I was supposed to be a movie star at the Oscars tonight accepting an award, however, I am not. I am in front of my computer blogging to all of you. The dream of being well.... Cinderella, a rock star, a model, and a movie star. Instead I am a mom (the best thing ever) And so I give you the Dream card. i made this card with Live Simply, a Cricut lite cartridge. There are so many variations of this card and so many sentiments you can use to convey your message. It is a basic template with so many uses. Ok, back to the Oscars.
Small Fashion Purse
I made this purse with the Cricut Forever Young Cartridge. I just love the lady with the hat on the back of the purse. So much fun to make it, you could go crazy with this cartridge! So many looks you could do.. endless!

ideas
To any of our peeps, what would you like to see on the blog? Any burning desires that we can work on or ideas you need help with? let us know.
shaker card
I just got an order from Stampin up and included was shaker cups. My kids love them and it adds yet another dimension to already great cards. This one is just a random scrap card that I put together for my daughters friend to give her teacher. The cups measure 2 inches, so they are rather large but can be filled with anything. Just thinking out loud, but this could be a fun girls day project or gift and bath flakes could be put in the self adhesive cup. You know kids, anything that makes noise is bound to be fun.
Calm and Peaceful
As I sit in my living room watching my husband play Call of Duty on the X Box for some reason I am at peace, so i thought I would share with you my peaceful card. This is a trifold card, which I have a blast making because there are so many ways to make it exciting. This time I used the Padoga cartridge. it is one of my favs. The images are wonderful and there are so many landscape images. The card is cut at 7 inches and scored at 4inches, 6 1/2, and 9 and folded into a tent. It is a great way to layer and create a scene. Ok going to post 2 more then back to the sounds of Call of Duty.
Thanks Floral Bird

Fun to give as gifts
So my mother in law Maggie got me hooked knitting over Christmas. I started making dish clothes with her and now i give them as hostess gifts (or whenever I go to any of my friends homes and see they have a lot of dirty dishes). I love using my Cricut to make the tags. For the one on the left, i take paper scraps and cut a long strip about 3.5 inches and fasten it with tape. The tag is made from Forever young, layered and cut at 3 inches and another at 2.5 inches. The flower is from the same cartridge and the "hand made just for you" is from Wild card. The Purse is from Forever Young and is 5 inches. I cut out "Fresh" and glued it on. What a fun way to give gifts to friends, teachers and family.

Fun Friends
Wedding Invite
Ok, so my dad is getting married and it is a low key wedding so he asked me to make invites. After numerous attempts at different styles, they decided upon this one. The colors are navy blue and white. I made it using the Stretch your Imagination cricut cartiridge. It is cut out at 7 inches. On the inside, I used translucent paper to make the invitation statement and attached it with brads. It is super easy and elegant.
