The flowers were cut using Pagoda at 3, 2 3/4, 2 1/2, 2 the layered atop and put on skewers, The jars are stuffed with tissue paper trimmed at the top, and Aloha was created using my gypsy, thanks Maggie I love it, We lavered palm trees, flip flops and turtles around the covered pasta sauce jars. We even made flowered hair clips for the girls. Happy cutting.

Shaped Baby Album

I love this album, I found a video online explain how to do this. I adapted it myself to make a baby album. I used the design studio to put the shaped pages together. I used various Cricut Cartridges, George and Basic Shapes, SYI, Beyond Birthdays, and Wrap it up. I embellished it with Cricut Imagine Cartridges. Mostly I used Nursery Tails and Imagine More. This was a lot of work but lots of fun, too!!

Happy Spring!

This is a card I made last year for Spring and Easter. I would just change the saying at the top. I made many of these last year ( I have since learned not to do that! lol). So I had enough to send out this year, and maybe the next two years!! Oh yes, do not do that!!!

Jersey Shore Baby, Beachy

I made this card for my Aunt and Uncle who came to visit for my dad's wedding. The reason for the tri-fold beach theme is because they life on the Jersey Shore where our whole family is vacationing this summer. I wanted to not only thank them for coming to GA because we had a blast but also remind them that we are coming.( and they promised to take my kids crabbing) The card dimensions are 7 inches and the score line are at 4, 6 1/2, and 9. Fold the card and you are ready to go. There are endless possibilities with this one. You can do family to fun and kiddish to adult humor. I love this fold.

Multi-purpose elegance for men and women

I have been getting a lot of use out of this cartridge lately, I think I am becoming borderline obsessed. This is a standard 7x5 card. the opening is scored at 1 3/4 and glued to he othe 7x5 paper to create the card. I used black and white because of its elegance but any color or image would work. For the left side, I attached a 41/2 x 1 1/2 white scrap strip, then a black strip at 1 1/2 x 4 and adhered my images. I used pg. 78 of Stretch your Imagination, but any will work fine. Flowers would be pretty or ghosts for Halloween. For the other side a 4 1/2 x 4 1/2 square in white, cut 4 2 x2 square and put my image on top. I love the way the card opens. Its fun and unique, but I do love different fold for cards. Have fun creating and if you are using a black card remember o put a sheet of paper in it to write on or use a silver sharpie.

Wedding Cards

My dad is getting married this weekend and I wanted to make him and his new bride a fun, personalized wedding cad. Their colors are navy so I added accents of navy to the card. I just had fun with this one. (and I really hope they don't look at the blog until after the weekend, if so, please act surprised) The images are cut from Strech Your Imagination. I used the card from pg. 73 and went to town with all of the other wedding designs from this cartridge. For the letters I used the Jubilee cartridge. I added some decorative paper, frames and dimensionals to create a one of a kind wedding card.

Wedding Invite

Ok, so my dad is getting married and it is a low key wedding so he asked me to make invites. After numerous attempts at different styles, they decided upon this one. The colors are navy blue and white. I made it using the Stretch your Imagination cricut cartiridge. It is cut out at 7 inches. On the inside, I used translucent paper to make the invitation statement and attached it with brads. It is super easy and elegant.
