Christmas Card 2012

This is my main Christmas Card for 2012. I thought I would take a break from posting the Club S.E.I cards. I made this card with the Cricut Cartridge "Winter Frolic". The flourish is from a die using the Cuttlebug. The phrase is from a stamp. I made the snow by mixing glitter and mod podge. Happy Holidays everyone!

Merry Christmas Bird

Sorry, I haven't posted lately...I have had major problems getting into the blog. My husband finally tried going thru google chrome and it worked!! This is a Club S.E.I card. I willl be posting several of the card from this kit in the next few days.

Better Days Ahead

This is from Cardmaker-kit-of-the-month club. Such a cute stand up card and so easy to make. To make your own you need to cut the base 11" x 4 1/4", score at 1', 2 3/4", 3 3/4", 51/2", 71/4", 81/4", & 10". You need to make a slit at the 51/2" score line for the tag, 3" x 1/16". The tag is 5" x 21/2".
To make the stand up card, first decorate tag as desired. Fold and crease base along each scoreline. Fold flaps toward inside. Fold card in center. Slide decorated tag into slit, lining up bottom edge with folded eadges of flaps. Adhere tag centered between flaps. Base will create stand when tag is pulled. Decorate stand

Wine Pictures

This is a 12 x 12 inch mixed media Wine picture. I cut the wine bottle and swiss cheese from the Cricut Cartridge "Something to Celebrate". The wine bottle is cut at 10 1/2  inches and the swiss cheese is cut at 8 1/2 inches. The swiss cheese is actually the inside of the glass on the wine bottle page. The cheddar cheese I cut from "George and Basic Shapes", at 4 inches. The grapes are from "Preserves" cut at 10 inches, but the leaves I cut at 10 inches for the brown and 8 1/2 inches for the green.

Beer Pictures

Made these pictures for my husband and son-in-law. Of course, they both love beer! I use the Cricut Cartridge "Everyday Pop-Up" for the beer mug and the "Cheers".

Frog and Peace Signs

Last night my daughter asked me to make a picture (frogs & peace signs) for a friends daughter. If course I said yes, but I wouldn't do it until the week after next as I will be busy. Well...once I got the idea..,,I couldn't stop until it was done.

I used "Create a Critter" for the frog, prince charming and crowns. I used " Groovy Times" for the peace signs and the word peace.

Pictures for Grandkids

I have been making these pictures lately. The first one is for my granddaughter, Brianna, she loves Owls. I mostly use the "Hoot n' Holler" Cricut Cartridge. The little owls are from Stampin' up. Same goes for the second Owl picture, this one for Brianna's friend. My grandson Jabok is a rocker. I used "Rock Princess" (don't tell him the princess part!lol). Addison goes wild for lions! I use "Zooballoo and Life is a Beach" Cartridges to make this adorable picture! Oliveah loves Teddy Bears. It took me awhile to come up with this, but I ended up loving it. Teddy Bears are from "Create a Critter", table from "Pagoda", clock and chandlir from "Everyday Pop-up Cards", and the honey from "Just Because Cards". Whew...what a lot! So much fun to make these pictures!!

Fall Mixed Media Picture

Another Mixed Media Picture. I don't think they are very good, but they sure are fun! I really
enjoy making them. I used a Cricut cut for the big leaf on the right, it is 3-D. I am not sure you can see that.

Happy Birthday Suzy!

This is the card I made for my daughter's birthday! Happy Birthday Suzy! I love you! I liked the card so well, I made a green one, too. The flowers are from Stampin' Up. I used my Cuttlebug with the Spellbinder dies for the cuts.

Halloween Spider

So I join a couple card of the month clubs. I also joined  a paper craft of the month club. I posted an earlier project with the autumn banner and sign, but didn't write anything. I couldn't get this new format for the blog to work for a couple of posts. I just posted without text. This is a card from the Club S.E.I kit. Such pretty papers in this kit. I also got lots of emblishment. The paper craft is my favorite, I got LOTs of stuff with that. I can't wait to see this months kit!

Mixed Media Art - Flowers & Girl

My newest obsession - Mixed Media Art..SO FUN. The girl - I followe along with a youtube video by Artyshils...I am not so good at that one with the freehand drawing, but I gave it a try and had lOTS of fun. The flowers - another youtube video by Christy Tomlinson. I will be doing more of this mixed media art.

Jakie's Birthday Card

I made this card awhile ago for my grandson Jake..love him soooo much! He is REALLY into rock music. He will be a RockStar someday.
